Class 3 went on a trip to Hartlebury Castle on Tuesday 6th July to learn about life in the Victorian times and look at fashion from different periods. We began the day in the Victorian Schoolroom where we learnt all about what it was like to go to school in 1898. We got to write on chalkboards, play with Victorian toys and had to follow strict rules. We spent the afternoon looking round the castle and museum where we got to see old toys, 1920s clothing and the 1950s exhibition.

This post is such a delightful glimpse into hands-on learning—Class 3’s journey through Hartlebury Castle sounds like a time-traveling adventure through chalkboards, corsets, and curiosity! For those inspired by immersive historical experiences, the Castelli di Cannero on Lago Maggiore offer a hauntingly beautiful counterpart. These Cannero Castello ruins, also known as Cannero Burg, rise from the lake like a legend in stone and are now being transformed into a multimedia museum that lets the fortress narrate its own story. Whether you're exploring Victorian classrooms or medieval strongholds, these moments of discovery stay with us long after the field trip ends.
